Chiropractic Education UK

Did you know it takes 5 years of full-time study to become a registered Chiropractor?

Did you know that UK Chiropractors complete a four-year full time university degree course followed by a year of supervised practice meaning it takes 5 years of study to qualify as a government registered chiropractor ?
They must also complete 30 hours of compulsory continuing professional development (CPD) every year to ensure that they are up to date with current research – this allows them to use the protected title of “Chiropractor.” Our registered Chiropractor Catherine Owers qualified in 2002 with a First Class Honours degree in Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic then received her “Doctor of Chiropractic” certificate the following year.
